Your selected question
Q:
How do I find the BIC/SWIFT and IBAN code for my account?
A:
Some banks may refer to your Bank Identification Code (BIC) as a SWIFT code.
If you have an Ulster Bank Republic account, your BIC/SWIFT will be: ULSBIE2D.
If you're asked for an 11 character BIC/SWIFT, just add XXX at the end.
To find your BIC/SWIFT and International bank account number (IBAN) on Bankline:
- Select 'Account information' in the left hand menu, then 'View account statement'
- Select the 'Account ID' of the account you need the BIC/SWIFT or IBAN for
- You'll then see them in the 'Account information' box above your statement
If you're making an international payment and need the BIC/SWIFT code for the payee, you should check what it is with them.
